Dear Friends of CSM:
I hope all is well with you as we begin the Summer here in the Northern Hemisphere. This is a special update on the work of the ministry as well as a personal update on Susanne’s health and mine. Thank you for praying for us.
We have gotten encouraging reports recently regarding Susanne’s health. She is on the mend following her double mastectomy and the oncologist says she is cancer free. We are praising God and continue praying for her in her recovery.
I have been accepted into the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital kidney transplant program, which is welcomed news. It’s an ongoing process, with lots of tests and scans, but I am praying for a new kidney and renewed strength to continue the work the Lord has called me to do.
To say the past two years have been challenging would be a major understatement. In the passing of family members and friends, as well as our own health issues, we have, at times, battled grief, fatigue, and questions about our future. Needless to say, we have sought the Lord with added fervency. We have also sought counsel from trusted friends and ministries.
Our desire is to preserve and enhance the legacy of my father’s ministry, while also creating new content, reaching new audiences, tapping into some of my own giftings and messaging – and be a platform for other voices in ministry. My June Pastoral Letter, “The Law of Liberty,” should be online and in the mail any day now.
We recently released two classic audio messages from my Dad which have never before been available in any digital format. We’re working on more “visualizer” videos for YouTube and social media. We’re making a conscious effort to reach people who we have never reached before.
There has been a significant downturn in our financial income since Dad’s passing, even as ministry opportunities continue to expand. Nonetheless, the Lord has miraculously provided for us, day-to-day, so that we can continue with basic services. We have made expense cuts, including salaries, but the fact is, we need income to continue forward in 2025.
Our hope is in the Lord our Provider. We do ask our friends to pray for us, and to stand with us as the Lord leads. We have some significant opportunities, in North America and globally, regarding our Covenant and Kingdom Bible Study Curriculum. And we are beginning to release some amazing audio and video resources from our archives … some teaching from my Dad that has never been available before in any digital format.
God is directing our steps. Thank you for walking with us! We love and appreciate you.
In Jesus,
Stephen Simpson
President
